How it works:

  1. Book an appointment for video consultation online or via our service hotline: 0331 / 98 22 999 5 (Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., only in German).
  2. You will receive a link to the video chat in the email confirming your appointment.
  3. You can upload the necessary documents for the consultation using an upload link, which you will receive in a separate email. You must give your consent for this when booking the appointment.
  4. At the scheduled time, simply click on the video chat link. The advisor will join the session at the agreed time. Please ensure that your speakers, camera, and microphone are turned on.

Technical requirements

  • We use Microsoft Teams for the video chat. You will need a device with internet access, a camera and a microphone. Please close any programs that use a lot of internet bandwidth during the video consultation.
  • You can join a Teams meeting from any device, regardless of whether or not you have a Teams account.
  • If you are using a PC, Mac or laptop, no additional software is required – the video chat will open in your browser. If you are using a smartphone, the Microsoft Teams app must be downloaded. For tablets this may also be necessary depending on the browser used.
  • Your device should have an up-to-date browser installed (preferably Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox).


General Information

What should I do if I encounter technical difficulties?

If there are any disruptions during the video chat, or if you are unable to join the session initially, you may try reconnecting during your scheduled consultation time. Simply leave the video meeting and click the link again. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide technical support. If a stable connection cannot be established, our advisors will call you and continue the consultation by phone.

Camera and microphone are not available – what can I do?

If you cannot see or hear anything during the video consultation, it might be because another program you are using (e.g. Zoom) has exclusive access to your camera and microphone. In this case, refresh the video chat browser window.

Can I send contract documents during the consultation?

Please upload the necessary documents in advance. You will receive a separate email with an upload link to submit your files.

What if I cannot attend my appointment?

If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please cancel it in good time. Your appointment confirmation email includes a link that allows you to cancel or reschedule the appointment.
